To call it "The Moloka’i Ocean Challenge" merely hints at the undertaking of this crossing. Although it is only 15 miles between Maui and Molokai, the Pailolo Channel is one of the windiest and roughest of the Hawaiian Island channels. Competitors, sailling Wind Surfers, Kite Surfers, Kite Canoes, and Kite Catamarans, made the crossing, all in support of "Youth in Motion" on Moloka’i...

NEW for this year, we are adding all forms of non motorized craft where teams can get very creative including SUP, Paddle Boards, One Man Canoe, Two Man Canoe, Four Man Canoe, kayaks, swimming all in support of YOUTH on MOLOKAI and the individuals choice of youth and or youth realted programs and or organizations.

The event IS ON FOR 2010 and is slated for Saturday, August 14. We are finalizing details but please stay tuned to this site Be sure to sign up early and join in this amazing adventure, a once in a lifetime experience. Pledge Forms are available for download and finalizing entry forms for each team member. In the meantime gather your teams, read and understand what the event is about and we look forward to seeing you in Molokai as you celebrate and raise money for a great cause..our youth, the future generation.

We are making this an invitation to celebrate this year so the event status is unofficial....however we have kids on Molokai that are ready for a down wind run via kayak, SUP and sailing....come join us for those on Molokai... The event package is updated..

NEW.....also for those coming from Maui Youth in Motion will write donation receipts for the cost of your escort boat...so we hope you can come....
